StrateQX is built to give you a real answer, not to harvest your business data. This page explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and why — in plain language.

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what information StrateQX collects when you use strateqx.com — the Learn guides, the Diagnose questionnaires, the Strategy Builder, Elevo (our AI assistant), and the calculators — and what we do with it.

2. Information we collect

Most of what you enter into our interactive tools never reaches our servers at all:

Strategy Builder answers (industry, budget, goals, challenges) are stored in your browser's local storage, on your device. We don't have a copy unless you explicitly submit your contact details to receive a report.
Elevo conversations are processed to generate a response and are not retained on our servers beyond what's needed to serve that response.
If you fill out a contact form or request a report, we collect the name, email, and message you provide.
Standard analytics data (pages visited, approximate location from IP, device/browser type) is collected to understand site usage.

3. How our AI features actually work

Where possible, StrateQX's AI features run locally rather than sending your business information to a third-party AI provider — this is a deliberate architecture choice, not a marketing claim. When a local model isn't available, a request may be routed to a hosted AI provider to generate a response; in that case, only the specific content needed to answer your question is sent, not your full browsing history or unrelated profile data.

4. How we use information

When we do hold information (contact form submissions, report requests), we use it to:

Respond to your enquiry or deliver the report you requested.
Improve the accuracy and relevance of our tools and content.
Send you information you've explicitly asked for — we don't add you to a newsletter without a clear opt-in.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use standard analytics tooling to understand which pages and tools are useful and which aren't. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking analytics cookies won't affect your ability to use any tool on the site.

6. Third-party services

We use third-party infrastructure providers (hosting, analytics, and — where applicable — hosted AI providers) to operate the site. We choose providers with their own privacy commitments and don't sell your information to data brokers or advertisers.

7. Data retention

Browser-local data (like Strategy Builder answers) persists only on your device until you clear it. Contact form submissions and report requests are retained only as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable follow-up window, after which they're deleted.

8. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time — contact us and we'll act on it promptly. Because most tool data lives only in your own browser, clearing your browser storage often accomplishes this yourself, immediately.

9. Children's privacy

StrateQX is a business tool intended for founders, marketers, and business professionals. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
